Amanda Clark is the principal dietitian at Great Ideas in Nutrition and has been practising since 1987. She is known for her practical ideas and concepts which culminated in the creation of the bestselling Portion Perfection – a visual weight control plan in 2008. Amanda is the recipient of two national awards for her ideas including The Dietitian’s Association of Australia’s Innovation Award.

Laura King, Dietitian & Exercise Physiologist

Laura is experienced in assisting with lifestyle change as a dual qualified Dietitian and Exercise Physiologist. She is keen to help you establish a calm, confident food relationship; and is passionate about movement for mind wellness. Her health-focused care has an emphasis on moderation and balance.

Gillian Woodward

Gillian Woodward, Dietitian

Master of Science (Melb) and Postgraduate Diploma in Nutrition and Dietetics, APD

Practising since 1981, Gillian's experience includes both community and clinical dietetics both within the health service and in then her own private practice for 16 years in Armidale. After moving to the northern rivers recently she is now continuing to work mainly in her specialist area of food allergy and intolerances (which she has developed over the last 25 years).

Gillian has seen many children as well as adults who suffer from these conditions and has developed helpful tools to enable them to obtain their dietary needs while avoiding adverse food reactions. Gillian has trained under specialist immunologists and dietitians from the Royal Prince Alfred hospital in Sydney and the Gold Coast Allergy clinic.

  • Planning a course of action to achieve your goals
  • Scheduling optimal follow up

You’ll also get reports on body composition, exercise prescription and computer nutritional analysis as deemed appropriate for your needs. There are no additional costs for these services as they’re included in your consultation fee. To assist in your health management, a report is made back to your referring doctor soon after the consultation where appropriate.

Rebates or funding may apply from your private health fund, Medicare, the Department of Veteran’s Affairs (DVA), or the National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS), and can be processed at time of consultation.
