Dietitian, Amanda Clark, author of Portion Perfection recently reviewed the Bare Bunny pancake range for quality, taste and usefulness in weight management.
Amanda reported the following recipes created perfectly portioned breakfasts or snacks.
Weight Loss for Women - 300 Cals = 1/2 cup Bare Bunny pancake batter made according to directions topped with 1/2 cup frozen raspberries, heated and stirred plus 2 Tbsp low fat greek yoghurt
Weight Loss for Men -400 Cals = 1/2 cup Bare Bunny pancake batter made according to directions topped with 1/2 cup frozen raspberries, heated and stirred plus 2 Tbsp low fat greek yoghurt plus 1 flat white coffee.
Weight Loss Snack for all: 2 Tbsp of Bare Bunny pancake batter made according to packet directions topped with 1 tsp jam + 2 tsp low fat greek yoghurt.
High in fibre, organic and wholegrain. Yum!!
If you'd like to just make a single serve so there's no leftovers, try using Farm Pride egg powder in place of the whole egg, and use 1/4 of each of the ingredients listed on the packet for the batter, substituting 2.5 tsp of egg powder for the egg.
For a snack serve for 1, combine 1 Tbsp of the pancake powder, 1/2 tsp butter, 1 tsp egg powder, 3 tsp milk , 1 tsp jam and 2 tsp low fat greek yoghurt.
